For the addict struggling with opioid addiction we provide Methadone and Buprenorphine. For the addict who struggles with alcoholism we administer Naltrexone and Antabuse. All of the medications we use are FDA approved for addiction and we utilize medication to physically stabilize our patients, while they undergo one on one psychotherapy to resolve the core issues surrounding their addiction. For opioid addiction, Methadone and Buprenorphine are proven to be effective treatment modalities by acting to heal the brain of patients who abused short acting opioids (such as morphine, heroin, and oxycodone).
